This is a great local tex-mex restaurant. I had the beef tips & chorizo soft tacos, and they were spectacular. My son says his lunch special burrito was great. The chile relleno was disappointing. We also had a queso and chorizo dip appetizer that was really good, as long as you are ok with the amount of grease you typically get on that kind of dish. The portions were huge and I liked the ambiance.
Basic food. Definitely not "authentic". Salsa, cheese dip and guac., No different than opening a jar from the grocery store. Very bland. Not, "bad" just bland. No effort into attempting to make it memorable. Reasonably priced though. I guess you really do get what you pay for.
If I could give a negative rating I would.. Had a to go order.. How cheese dip is runny and cold at the same time is beyond me.. My nachos were so soggy they were inedible... Shrimp Chimichangas were fried and soggy. I will never come back to this location. Very disappointed.
Pretty fast service, wait staff was nice. Restroom could have been cleaner but it was the middle of the day. Overall great experience here, always.
I eat at Mexican restaurant quite often and in various parts of the country. This one ranks as one of the best. Great food, great service, great prices, great atmosphere. The food was rightly seasoned. Not just hot, but flavorful! I'll be back! Great margaritas too!
