Booked a truck over a month out, and followed up to confirm my rental 4 days before the pickup date. However, when I showed up to pickup the truck, nothing was available. The "inventory manager" called me 45 minutes later to let me know the area was "oversold" and there was nothing he could do. Luckily, I already booked a plan B with uhaul. Otherwise I would have been completely screwed.
