Never felt unsafe or worried in this neighborhood. Very close to a church, McD's, Mall, Interstates, Walmart, Food City, Big Lots, and tons of other food places. And do note to that the sink doesn't have a disposal.

I stayed there for 6 moths!! This place is awesome. I would highly recommend it if you stay in Kingsport for any length of time. I travel for my job and it's been by far my favorite place. Staff very kind and polite. Treated me like family the whole time I was there. Cheaper then the hotel I was booked into and a whole lot cleaner!!!!

One thing to note is that you can control your own thermostat, though either the cleaning people or the manager have the nerve to come in when you're gone and adjust it hoping you won't notice. So if it's been freezing and you've been running the heat at 70-75 expect it to be adjusted to like 60-65. Also, if the internet goes down after 5 or on the weekend then you're screwed because the modem is in the manager's office.

I am a traveling nurse! I was put here in kingsport tennessee and everywhere i looked the Apartments where not like bradford place they have the most affordable apartments! These apartments are very clean, bed comfortable, furniture comfortable, clean and up to date. Kitchen was stocked with appliances, cooking equipment, and dishware. Laundry is open all night Apts are pet friendly. Staff is very friendly, open and caring toward their tenents. As a travel nurse I had stayed many places in many different cities and I give Suites At Bradford Place 5 stars!!

Original: So rent is essentially a grand a month for this place. Furnished means it comes stocked with some unclean silverware and bowls (silverware was literally stuck to the holder), some glasses and plates, a coffee pot, a couch which is alright, a recliner which hurts your lower back after a while, a 27" HDTV on the world's smallest stand, free basic cable, free wifi (not good speeds), a dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, a dining room table w/ 4 chairs, a dresser, and a comfy bed. Pillows are only moderately comfy (I brought my own). You get 4 towels, 2 hand towels, and 4 wash cloths. The cleaning people (2 people) come by once a week (typically on a particular day; though they have the liberty to change that day any given week at their leisure with no notice to you at all which can be very annoying). They will make your bed (they don't wash the sheets or anything, just make it), they will wash and fold your used towels (however I don't doubt they wash them, but they don't ever smell clean, so the soap must be unscented and you will also usually get lots of long hairs from the cleaning lady on them, which is disgusting), they will take out your trash, and they will clean the toilet. I'm fairly certain that they never sweep or mop any floor nor vacuum the bedroom carpet.

Was arranged to move in on a set date, but the day before I was scheduled to move in, the manager told me that my room would not be available because the resident living there extended his stay, bad management.

The laundry machines cost $1 in quarters to use per load, same as the dryers. But the dryers never got my clothes completely dry, they always came out damp.

That's about it. I'd say that if you have the option, choose an unfurnished apartment or a hotel. This place is alright, but really not the best.

The mattress and pillows are uncomfortable. I had to use my own mattress pad, pillows, etc.

The shower pressure is very very low.

After I moved in due to an "unexpected vacancy," I realized that there is no food disposal in the sink, making your sink clog up frequently and needing to used your hands underwater to dig through bits of food.

Everyone I ever spoke to was nice. The parking lot is clean and accommodating. Fitness area is in the managers office apartment, which is locked when they're not there (generally after 5 and weekends) so for a working person like me you will never have access to it. Laundry costs a dollar to wash or dry, though none of the driers really work well. They get it from wet to damp and then you have to run them one more time. So it's essentially $3 a load.

Also none of the machines in the fitness center work properly, and I'm not exaggerating.

Update: I'm pretty sure the Shane Falin review was written by a staff member or the manager. Who else would specifically counterpoint my mention of the Fitness Area by being extremely specific that you have to ask the manager AND sign a waiver? I think they honestly didn't like the truth of my review and quickly added that fake one to counter. Though I'll concede the point on the fitness area by saying I never asked but also they never mentioned this detail either.

Im a traveling nurse and my job brought me to kingsport. I checked other extended stays in the area and Bradford Place is by far the nicest. The aparment was immaculatey clean. The staff was very friendly and just had a wonderful stay. I would highly recomend Bradford Place
